Making bulgogi at home is surprisingly simple and incredibly rewarding.

     

    •  How to cook Bulgogi

    To put it very simply, it’s as follows.

    To start, thinly slice your choice of beef.

    Popular cuts include sirloin or tenderloin. Then, prepare the marinade by combining soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, minced green onions, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl.

    Mix these ingredients thoroughly until the sugar is dissolved. Next, add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring that each piece is well coated.

    Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat

     

    Once the beef has marinated, heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.

    Place the marinated beef onto the grill, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

    Cook the beef for about 3-5 minutes on each side, flipping occasionally, until it is cooked through and caramelized on the edges.

    Korean instant dumplings, known as ‘Bibigo’, are popular in many countries. However, I’d like to share a way to make these dumplings even tastier.

    I’m also a big fan of Bibigo dumplings. I’ve been enjoying them for over 20 years. But recently, they’ve become very popular internationally under the name Bibigo Mandu.

    It is said that their global sales have surpassed 1 trillion won.

    How to cook frozen Mandu (dumplings) deliciously

    In the past, I would simply fry frozen dumplings in oil and cook them haphazardly. However, after watching the video below, I learned a much tastier way to cook them. I’m excited to share this method with you.

    By learning the simple techniques below, you can enjoy much more delicious frozen dumplings.

     

     

    What is the best method for deliciously baking frozen dumplings?

    • While frying the dumplings in oil, add a little water and cover them with a lid to keep them moist.
    • Flip the dumplings over and cook until they are crispy on all three sides.
    • Once the dumplings are properly cooked, spread a thin layer of flour dough over them to maximize crispiness.

    Anyone can succeed by following the instructions in the video above. If you prepare Bibigo dumplings this way, they will turn out crispier and moister. This method could also be applied to other brands of frozen dumplings, but it works best with Korean-style dumplings.

    For additional flavor, as shown in the video, you can add green onions!

    You can eat frozen dumplings like you buy them at a restaurant.

    짜장면은 한국에서 개발된 ‘한국식 중국 요리’ 입니다. 저렴한 가격으로 쉽게 먹을 수 있는 대표적인 한국의 음식입니다. 한국 영화나 드라마에 가장 많이 나오는 음식 중 하나 입니다.

    짜장면은 돼지고기에 기름으로 튀긴 춘장을 넣은 후 양파, 양배추 등의 야채와 함께 볶은 소스에  국수를 비벼먹는 음식입니다. 음식 색상이 까만색이라 맛이 없어 보일 수도 있어요. 하지만 먹어보면 엄청 새롭고 깜짝 놀랄 만한 맛입니다.

     

    아래 영상을 보니 미국에도 짜장면 식당이 있는 것을 알 수 있습니다. 이처럼 이미 세계적으로 사랑 받기 시작한 요리 입니다.

     

    • 짜장면 만드는  법

    아래는 한국에서 가장 유명한 중국음식 요리사인 ‘이연복’의 채널에 올라온 레시피 입니다.

    이연복 쉐프는 TV쇼 프로그램에 많이 출연한 유명인입니다. 그의 방식으로 한번 짜장면 만들기에 도전해보세요.  저도 한번 도전해 봤었는데요, 어렵지 않게 짜장면에 성공했어요. 재료만 준비하면 맛있는 짜장면을 쉽게 만들 수 있을거예요 🙂

     

    ※ jajangmyeon – Ingredients

    Chinese noodle, Pork, Chunjang(Black bean paste) Squash, Onion, Ginger Oyster sauce, Sugar, Soy sauce, Starch, MSG

    ※ jajangmyeon – Recipe

    1. Chop little pork, 1 large onion, 1/4 squash into dices.

    2. Put 5 spoons of cooking oil into a pan and heat with medium heat.

    3. Mince 1 spoon amount of ginger.

    4. Insert chopped pork and little onion with minced ginger into the heated pan and stir fry with high-fire.

    5. Once pork is fully cooked, put in rest of veggies with 1/2 spoon of soy sauce.

    6. Once veggies are cooked, insert 1 spoon of oyster sauce, 1/2 spoon of sugar, 1.5 full spoon of black bean paste and little water and stir fry. (at this point taste to see if more black bean paste is needed)

    7. If it taste right, insert little starch water. if you want deeper taste, insert 1 pinch of MSG

    8. Cook chinese noodle.

    9. Pour sauce on top of noodle and dig in!

    한국에서는 집을 이사할 때 짜장면을 먹는 문화가 있습니다. 그것은 한국의 배달 문화 때문입니다. 왜냐하면 이사를 하는 날에는 매우 바쁘기 때문에 배달을 시켜먹기가 편하기 때문이죠. 지금은 매우 많은 음식들을 배달시켜 먹을 수 있지만, 아주 옛날에는 배달 음식은 짜장면이 유일했습니다. 그래서 이사 날에는 짜장면을 먹는 것이 문화처럼 생긴 것 같습니다.

    지금은 한국에서 워낙 배달 어플이 잘되어 있기 때문에 다양한 음식을 배달로 먹을 수 있습니다.

    비빔밥은 한국의 대표적인 음식 입니다만, 이렇게 까지 전세계 사람들이 비빔밥 만드는 방법을 궁금해 할 줄 은 몰랐습니다.  “K드라마 속 그 요리” 구글 레시피 검색 세계 1위는 비빔밥

    기사에 따르면 인도, 싱가포르, 스웨덴, 필리핀, 말레이시아에서 높은 관심을 보였다고 합니다. 비빔밥은 다양한 야채와 고기를 밥과 함께 비벼 먹는 음식입니다. 

     

    비빔밥은 워낙 다양한 재료가 들어가서 만들기 어렵다고 생각하시나요?

    사실 한국 가정에서는 저런 방식보다 훨씬 적은 재료로 만드는 비빔밥을 더 자주 먹습니다.

    밥과 어울릴 수 있는 반찬 한 두 가지를 넣고 비벼 먹는 비빔밥들입니다

    비빔밥의 가장 핵심 재료인  고추장참기름만 준비하세요.  두 가지 재료가 가장 핵심입니다. 

    * 그리고 기초가 되는 쌀밥은 한국식 쌀로 만드 것이 좋습니다. 다른 지역에서 먹는 쌀들은 한국쌀과 식감이 많이 다르기 때문입니다. 

    쌀밥에 내가 원하는 재료를 넣고 고추장(또는 간장)과 참기름을 넣으면 한국식 비빔밥을 먹을 수 있습니다.

    잘 지은 쌀밥에 양념을 섞은 것 자체가 맛있거든요.

    무 대신에 콩나물이나 볶은 버섯, 오이 등 을 넣어도 맛있습니다. 이것들을 모두 같이 섞어 먹어도 좋습니다.

    How did Korean chicken develop? (History and Features)

    Korea’s chicken consumption culture has evolved from traditional to modern “chicken” dishes over the years. (In Korea, fried chicken dishes are all called “chicken.”)

    In 1984, when KFC came to Korea, fried chicken began to gain popularity. In addition, many Korean-style chicken brands such as Pericana, Maxican, and Cheogajip Sauce Chicken were created in the same era.

    Especially, ‘Seasoned Chicken’ with sauce that suits the taste of Koreans began to gain popularity. Korean native brands such as Maxica, Pericana, and Cheogajip, which make ‘Seasoned Chicken’, became popular.

    Making Korean chicken at home

    1. Suitable – Cut raw chicken into bite-size pieces (boneless meat available)

    2. Use fried dough

    3. Fry twice at 160-170℃ (320 ℉) – fried enough to cook once at first.

    4. Leave for a while and fry again for the second time (about 1 to 2 minutes for the second time)

    5. Sift it through a sieve and drain the oil

    6. Seasoning – Put Korean seasoning on it
