Instant ramen, which has been loved in Korea for a long time, has recently been loved all over the world. It’s also called ‘ramen’ in Japanese language, but it’s more correct to say ‘ramyeon’ in Korean language.

1위  Shin ramen / 신라면 (nong shim)

1986년 출시된 라면으로 32년 넘게 1위를 지키고 있는 제품입니다.

한국에서 가장 사랑 받는 제품이라고 생각하면 됩니다.

It was released in 1986 and has been in the top spot for more than 32 years. You can think of it as the most loved product in Korea.

2위  TEUM-SAE Ramen 틈새라면 (paldo)

신라면 보다 더 매운 라면입니다.  아래  ‘Buldak’ 보다는 덜 맵지만 위에 ‘신라면’보다는 맵습니다.

It’s a spicier ramyeon than Shin Ramen. It’s less spicy than ‘Buldak’, but it’s spicier than ‘Shin Ramen’ on top.

그림을 보면 알 수 있듯이 매운맛을 강조하는 라면입니다

5위 ANSUNG Ramen 안성탕면 (nong shim)

상대적으로 신라면 보다 덜 맵습니다. 외국인들이 좀 더 편안하게 느낄만한 맛입니다.

It is relatively less spicy than Shin Ramen. It tastes more comfortable for foreigners.

6위 BIBIM MEN 비빔면  (paldo)

불닭볶음면이 너무 매운 분들은 이 비빔면을 꼭 드셔보세요.  한국인들이 오랫동안 사랑해온 대표적인 비빔면입니다.

If the Buldak(spicy chicken noodles) are too spicy, make sure to try it. It is a representative ‘bibimmyeon’ that Koreans have loved for a long time. (I personally think it tastes much better than Buldak.)

7위 Jin Ramen 진라면 (ottogi)

순한맛과 매운맛이 있습니다. 순한맛 제품은 매운걸 잘 못먹는 어린 아이들이 먹기 좋습니다.

There are mild and spicy flavors. Mild taste products are good for young children who can’t eat spicy food.

8위 SESAME Ramen 참깨라면 (ottogi)

한국인이 사랑하는 ‘참기름’과 계란을  라면에 접목시킨 제품입니다. 참기름 과 계란이 들어있어서 고소한 맛이 더 강합니다.

It is a product that combines ‘sesame oil’ and eggs, which Koreans love, with ramen.
It has a stronger savory taste because it contains sesame oil and eggs.

9위 Chapagetti 짜파게티 (nong shim)

영화 기생충에 나와서 더욱 유명해진 짜파게티 입니다. 오랫동안 한국에서 사랑받아온 한국의 대표적인 짜장 라면입니다.

It is Chapagetti that became more famous after appearing in the movie Parasite. It is Korea’s representative black bean instant noodles that have been loved in Korea for a long time.

10위 Samyang Ramen 삼양라면 (samyang)
